Bloke & Bird are an indie pop duo from Sweden comprised of Jennifer Akerman (vocals) and Lorenzo Jansson Kilman (guitar, keyboard, vocals). The two Swedish transplants coincidently met after individually relocating to Los Angeles during the summer of 2011. It was soon after meeting that the two started writing music together, ultimately resulting in the birth of Bloke & Bird. While drawing comparisons to the likes of bands such as Phantogram, Chvrches, and Purity Ring, Bloke & Bird are making waves in the indie pop sector, with their unique sound and style. The band is currently in Malmo Sweden finishing tracks at world famous Tambourine Studios (The Cardigans, The Hives). Download their advance EP below.
